New Face in the Mob: Introducing  our new General Manager, Cameron Griffiths.

Cameron recently re-located from Melbourne to take up his role at Billabong.

He brings a wealth of business experience in running companies, staff & financial management, governance and compliance, customer service and strategic planning. However, he’s not one to just sit behind a desk – when he’s not doing paperwork, you’re likely to find him up a ladder mending an aviary, or helping with other projects around the park.

Joining us just after Cyclone Kirrily ripped through the park, Cameron hit the ground running. He spent his first few days manning a chainsaw to help with the clean up!  He has since developed a feel for our staff, history and culture and is keen to help grow the business and build on the great reputation that Billabong has established over the last 40 years.

Based on this feedback he is already sketching out plans to enhance the comfort, facilities and the unique Billabong experience for visitors, staff and animals.

Cameron is a keen environmentalist, animal lover, fitness enthusiast and tragic Essendon supporter.   His young family are his passion, and his kids reckon Dad has the coolest job imaginable!
