A REFRESHINGLY DIFFERENT VENUE
At Billabong Sanctuary, we can help you organize a function with a difference.
Whether you are planning a small family party or a large corporate celebration, let us host a memorable event tailored to your needs and your budget.
With a wide range of versatile facilities, from an intimate dining room to an open air pavilion under the trees, we can host gatherings from thirty to several hundred. And of course, we offer exclusive personal encounters with our friendly native animals.
Melaleuca on Billabong, our modern function centre, is an inspiring venue for corporate events or special family occasions.
Nestled under paperbark trees, with spacious timber decks overlooking the water, this facility is designed to comfortably accommodate anything from a no-nonsense training course to a fully-catered dinner party.
Designed by the award winning Troppo Architects, Melaleuca on Billabong is energy efficient and environmentally sensitive, reflecting the advanced ecotourism accreditation of Billabong Sanctuary.
With spacious verandas on three sides and a soaring roofline, this versatile, all-weather building harmonises with the natural beauty of its surroundings. You can shelter from the rain or sun, or throw open the doors to enjoy a cool breeze and stunning views across the billabong.
For training sessions we offer comfortable seating: classroom style for about 55 participants, or theatre seating for up to 100 people.
We can arrange catering to please all tastes, from a casual working lunch to a festive gourmet dinner.
Optional extras such as souvenir photos, entertainment and bus transfers are available. You can be assured of a quality event that your guests will be talking about for years to come.
