Another New Face in the Mob:  Say G’Day to Ranger Jeyn.

Jeyn Duke P C

Jeyn started her zookeeping career 5 years ago at Australia Reptile Park, caring for spiders! She tended their colony of thousands of funnel-webs, milking them every day for their venom.

Did you Know? Spider venom is collected to make antivenom, in much the same way that snake venom is collected?

Jeyn’s real love is reptiles and she moved on to work with them both in NSW and up in Cairns.  Here at Billabong her favourite is Duke the black-headed python. Can you tell?

You’ll love the joyful passion that Jeyn brings to her wildlife talks: not to be missed!

Welcome to the team, Jeyn.
